Interesting artical thanks for posting, the Arrow was quite a machine and cancelled under similar circumstances as the UK's TSR2.

I still remember very clearly,the Arrow coming
in to land just over our house.We were directly
underneath the flightpath,of Malton Airport.Now
L.B Pearson.
I would ride my bike up Browns line/27 Highway
to the Airport and watch the planes all day.Even
saw the Avro "Flying saucer" once outside a hanger.
The Arrow sure broke a lot of windows going supersonic
quite a few times.

I also saw it fly.......we used to live just about a mile from the outer marker of 23R........all those years ago.......
