Strange name for an aeroplane, but intriguing non the less.

Is this ac available in FSX, perhaps under a different name even?

Nothing other than this, and a few more videos on YouTube.

Thanks OAM.. First found out about this plane in a documentary...

A Blackshape made a short appearance in a documentary I watched on TV, in which a Boeing 727 was deliberately crashed in the Mexican desert.

4 Yrs in preparation, the 727 was rigged out with test gear, cameras, dummies etc, all for data collection.

The 727 was flown to "site" by real on board pilots, whom then parachuted out at about 3 miles from ground zero.
From here it was flown by radio control, piloted from a chase plane.

Needing a chase plane which could keep up with the 727, the initial choice of chase plane was BlackShape Prime.
BUT..just before takeoff, the Blackshape developed a fuel flow problem, and was quickly replaced with another plane which was at hand.

It does remind me of a propeller driven aircraft that's use for a jet trainer, but I can't recall the plane.
