Flying 4-Engined Bombers.

There was good news on the historic bomber front today:
First, PA474 the Avro Lancaster of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, flew for the first time in 2016. It suffered a mid air engine fire last year and then had issues with its fuel tanks so has had a protracted grounding. Hopefully that's it now til its next "Major" service (where it'll receive the tailplane in a swap from Lancaster FM212 which spent most of its days on a pole in Windsor, ON and is now under static restoration).

Then, mid afternoon UK time, the world's population of airborne B-29 Superfortresses doubled!

I first remember reading about the possibility of it happening in the mid-90s!
