I share this fantastic film, many of this achievments I did not know (like the Jetman!). I remember the Breitling Orbiter, I followed that flight on Satellite TV. Now, Bertrand Picard using Solar Energy, has to wait for favorable weather until next spring time. The Hot air Ballon was a proven artifact since the XVI century, Solar Energy has to be developed as bateries for power storage are being tested & corrected when overused.

GREAT find, Jean.

About the nine minute mark they have a Westland Lysander sneaking in to pick up clock mechanisms for Britain.

One of my favorite STOL aircraft along with the Fieseler Storch.

Thank you.

Of course the Lysander pilot was likely wearing his issue Rolex back then...

The problem now with Breitling, with their fairly aggressive marketing, sponsorship etc, is that they're becoming a little common!
