I am going to say it will never get off the ground. The CAA will never allow it to fly in "civilian" hands....

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I agree with Matt. No way would they get permission to carry passengers. Even if the CAA agreed to issue limited display approval I can't see any manufacturer being willing to take design responsibility for it, as Marshall Aerospace did for the Vulcan. I don't think BAE Systems or EADS would be interested. :violin:

As said, the CAA won't be the issue. Concorde is a different case entirely as it was a civilian aeroplane and isn't ex-military, which is the problem TVOC/VTTS and other historic jet owners have found. It has other advantages too, and it has more commercial potential than a military jet.

The stopper will likely be EADS. I wonder if they actually have all the money they say they have too.
