THAT barrel roll

I believe I'm still the only person to have done the inverted loop of the Golden Gate in Concorde.... and we won't discuss my An-225 antics :-D

Hagar, I was at Farnbor' for that show, the noise was earsplitting and I didn't realize the import of that feat till years later. I even tried to get a bronie box camera photo of it, but all I got was heads and a dot in the sky. LOL

I was there too. I also saw the Black Arrows perform their record-breaking formation loop with 22 Hunters in 1958. https://youtu.be/Uwn9DSG6Hvo

We didn't realise how lucky we were in those days.

Back in the days when a low pass at speed was exactly that unlike today, still I our requirement for safety has advanced somewhat over the years.........probably for the best too......?

And today, would the RAF be able to get 22 aircraft of the same MK for the a repeat, some how I doubt it.........

You're correct of course but I wouldn't have missed it. 8-)
