As usual the press tried to make a story out of something that isn't... what a shower. You'd have thought they'd have learned by now, everyone here know's what this stuff is I'm sure

Needless to say, the Daily Fail did run this and made them selves look like complete ladies private parts (as usual

True story time again! Back in 2004/05 when I was working for Northworst Airlines in DTW I frequently worked overtime on the line checking planes between flights and just basically being there in case a mechanical problem arose. Being the devious sort I am I liked to wear my baseball cap that said "Duct Tape Pro" on the front. One day, after the pax and crew had deplaned, I was checking the logbook and the pilot came back on board to chill out before he took the flight on the next leg of the schedule. He saw my hat and said jokingly "That's scary!" I replied "Captain it just got even better. They came out with a clear Duct Tape and now we can fix things you guys won't even notice." He laughed and said "I guess I'm going to have to make my First Officers perform a lot closer preflight walk around."
