BBMF Engine fire

Looks like the BBMF Lancaster will be out of action for a while. She has suffered a reported engine fire.

Heard about this earlier, seems to be worryingly similar to what happened to the Canadian Lanc last year. Hopefully she'll be flying again soon.

Canadian Lanc was the supercharger shredding itself. Appears this was a sustaining fire - oil or petrol sustained.

Ohh crumbs, any word on how bad the damage is yet?
