The original report stated that he was "critically injured", with deep gashes to his head.

The term; "Critically Injured" always rings warning bells to me!

Getting "knocked about" at the age of 72 is never good news!

Hopefully, he will recover OK, with a few more additional scars on his face!

I don't mean to sound shallow, but my first thoughts when I read the headline "Breaking News: TMZ reporting Harrison Ford in small plane crash", my first thought was "I hope everybody's ok, including that gorgeous green and yellow DHC-2."



the airplane the mishap occured in has been reported as a Ryan ST-3KR, which would be the ST-3 with a Kenner radial of 160 hp. Wiki says that there was only "ST-3KR" built, so lets hope it wasn't that one. More likely is that it is one of the "PT-22A" aircraft, which was (aiu) the designation on the placards of twenty-five ST-3KR built for the RNAF but never delivered, and which were later procured by the USAAF.
