Reading for Boeing die-hards

The KC-X program epitomizes favoritism and shady gov't-business relations...recommend reading into it more...the 10% undercut Boeing made is credited to Boeing being given Northrop's tech proposal and the Boeing win is largely credited with Northrop eventually saying publicly the competition was a sham and that the DoD was playing favorites and then they WALKED.

Such a debacle....but hey, Boeing has to earn those billions in tax breaks right?

Hey, if the New England Patriots can get to the Super Bowl by cheating with deflated footballs, what's a little scamming in the Military-Industrial Complex? The way sports are in the US these days, the dollar value was probably about the same. :character-jaws:

Ahhhh. Interesting to see that old one raise its head again.

For once the USA's NATO, Middle Eastern and Australian allies can have the bragging rights as to having the more capable kit (apart from Italy and Japan). I wasn't an accident that just about every other nation submitting a major order plumped for the A330MRTT/KC-30...
