Congratulations to Georgina...undoubtedly well deserved.

Interestingly, the story omitted astronaut Sally Ride from the list of Female firsts.

There are also others, like Jerrie Mock. Jerrie successfully completed the flight that Amelia lost her life trying to complete, and Jerrie did it solo.
