Just wanted to give y'all an update on how I've been doing since this website/FSX gave me inspiration to start a career in aviation. I have some pictures to share with yall from my training, I am proud to say I'm a private pilot now currently working on obtaining my multi-engine add-on, then advancing to instrument training, then MEI, commercial, MEI, CFI, CFI-I. I recently completed my single engine land training in a 2014 Piper Archer, and I am continuing the remainder of my training in a twin engine Piper Simenole. I am only posting the links because I can't remember the policy on posting the direct image on the forum.

Its Looney!.... ...!

One of a wonderful collection of young Chaps from the past, who, together, we all had a grand time of "Multiplaying" together,* with Fly-ins and Air Shows, etc....
...and overall silliness in our collective posts on the Forum.... ....!

A lot of budding real-life pilots then, including one of our Chums from the 'Frisco Bay area, who was taking his flying course at Livermore and Byron Airfields!

It was a grand, fun and laughter time then, never to be repeated since, and a time that I have always missed on the Sim V Site!

I used to remember all their real names at one time, but my memory is letting me down now... ...!

Its good to see you pop in to tell your tale, together with some Pics.
You certainly seem to be enjoying yourself, now that you have finally got your Pilot's Licence, and the best of luck with your complex Twins!

Good to see you again Looney...

....and take care!

Paul..... ...!

* "Multiplayer", using FS 2004, was/is always quick and easy to connect to, compared to the later FSX Sim. and often the reason why we don't get many/any Multiplayer Pilots nowadays, who are using FSX with its more complex/daunting? method of Multiplayer connection.

Yip, I know the Feeling, how good it feels to finally get that License so ya can Fly !!! :D

I finally, earned my Commercial Pilots License, as a matter of Fact, like 15 minutes ago !!

Tho, I've never actually really never flown a real Jetliner or Airliner .

Nor can I actually land a real Jetliner without Crashing

Then, how did you ever get your Commercial Pilots License - Mr. Jetranger ????

Well, let me tell ya ~

I pushed this little ol' button on my puter and it Spit out all 5 of the Pilot Licenses I needed , like in Presto' !!!

I now have all 5 Pilots licenses to get me a Flying Job, and am on my way to apply at TWA, or Braniff, PSA, or Ozark actually, I'm hopeing PAN AM , Hopefully maybe !!!

If not there maybe BOAC airlines or Allegheny Airlines or maybe MoHawk airways.

I'll keep ya'll Informed as to what happens !!!

De' Jetranger

Another update, I'm now a Commercial Multi-engine pilot with instrument privileges, private pilot single engine. I'm currently in CFI school in Jacksonville working on my CFI initial in the multi engine. After I get this I'm going back to get my Commercial single, CFI single and then CFII. I've been at CFI school for a week now and let me just say it's a B**ch lmao.

Perks of the job... :| I know how you feel... It'll be worth it in the end. What they can't teach you is:

1) patience
2) the ability to roll your eyes without the student seeing
3) how to keep your hands just close enough to controls on landing when you are slightly nervous about their ability to land without giving the game away...

It comes with experience. Or at least the last two do! <<q
