It may be a teeny bit on the ugly side, but this is very real, on the market and functional.

Pretty sure there's only the prototype, and we'll see about getting it certified here in the US...

But it is a lot nicer-looking than the Terrafugia (which I also have not yet seen on the highways or in the air so far).

Trouble with these roadable aircraft is that the necessary compromises always produce a vehicle that is mediocre, at best, in both roles...

I hate to put a dampener on things, but the Utopia of flying cars is not going to happen. Too expensive, too many rules, and I am guessing (with nearly 30 years of aviation maintenance behind me) that the maintenance costs of these will see them fly as often as a priceless warbird, not to mention all the servicing bulletins that will accompany them. These are super rich peoples toys and not for the average pilot. Not to mention, but would you leave it on your driveway or in the office car park......I would not. I would leave it at a secure airport, so it rather negates the reason for having it......??

I have to agree. El Caminos are nice drivers but will only hold 2 comfortably and have limited spring rates (1/4 ton).
