Branson's response is really a classic " sorry that he didn't like the award winning food." I tried bringing a brown baggie with a delectable roast pork home made sandwich and stuffing. Yummy. Air Transat made me off load it as it made my carry on 1/2 kilo over. I still have a mental picture of Air Transat staff munching my sarnies hunched down behind the counter with a big smirk on their faces. :violin:

When it comes to airline food and the complaints, I have to laugh..............You are sat at 35,000 feet in a pressurised tube slipping through the sky at 500mph...........as if that is not a wonder in itself, people complain about the food.....

LoL.

Some of that stuff in the first link looks very nice. The only problem for me is that I can't afford business class.

I get Sushi at the airport and eat it on the plane.

Way to go Fozzer, just make sure your carry-on is within limits. Those check-in girls like home-made. Unless of course it's sardines.

From the first link, I picked the ones that looked the most palatable. Choices are in order of the Photos from the link...

1. Delta (#2) - Out of all the meals pictured, this one looked the most appealing.
2. Trans Asia (#4) - The epitome of a light breakfast; methinks tastier than the other choices, except for...
3. Iberia (#7) - This one looks like something Paul (fozzer) might serve at his house; mighty tasty, I bet!
4) Air Yoshinoya (#8) - Can't go wrong with donburi, from the folks that introduced fast Japanese cuisine to the US.
5. Aero Mexico (#24) - Kind of basic for LGA-MMX, but still looks better than most of the others!

I have to say that maybe the best way is to go the DIY route. This guy on YT came up with three different meal choices, each with a little twist...

I used this one on a trip from KDEN-KBDL and back; it really does work, and the person sitting next to me was very jealous!
