I believe Southwest Airlines had record earnings this past quarter, so it is possible that the FAA/Federal government wants some of that money. Oh look here a possible violation for Southwest due to these charges of shabby maintenance, we should be able to snatch some of that money...

Just a thought, but I would not put it past our government...

How slowly do they install the rivets, the sealer takes up to 24hours to dry and has a working time of around two hours....?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
