The final demise of the Skycatcher:

I wonder the price comparison between the Skycatcher Trainer produced now, and the Cessna 150 Trainer produced then?

That new Skycatcher seemed awfully expensive for the Flight Training Clubs?
...what do you reckon?

A bitter blow for Cessna.

You'd think people like John and Martha would have much more sense than what their article reflects. How many "close calls" do you need before you say "I'm doing it wrong."
I'm simply amazed by that article, maybe even astounded, astonished and shocked. Here are two people who have been telling others how to fly for decades and all the while just too damn "know it all" to listen to someone else. Every close call John mentioned in the article has been cited by the FAA time and time again as the cause for numerous deadly crashes. Just unbelievable!

Like an old college professor (a PHD no less) once told me about being a college grad, "It just means you're educated, it doesn't mean you're smart."

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.
