I was stationed at Beale AFB where the SR-71 was. It's an amazing aircraft.
Just sitting on the ground it looks like a sword point and you have absolutely no doubt that it's fast.
The funniest thing was that we couldn't take pictures of it, BUT you could buy a plastic model kit in the BX.
I've tried a few FSX SR-71s, but the feeling of being in front of one, just isn't there.
