Well so theres been like this Historic Landing,, onboard a Carrier with a Drone !

Geee, said the Beaver to Wally, I been landing my Drones on Carriers for years now in my Flight Simulator Sim

However, that was on a very calm sea on a very stable flight deck
What about in the real world of combat when a pilot often has to constantly adjust to an ever changing deck height and attitude on rough seas ?

I think it was more PR than anything as it was little different than landing on a land runway. Were they just testing the tail hook which I'm sure sure they had already previously done on land?
It's a start at least.

However, I fear that war is getting to impersonal where people think no one gets hurt so, they want war to be the first resort, not the last .
