This article is a good illustration why I think society today has a distorted view of aviation....and also shows why I really do not like airliners....unless they are vintage...

Considering 1 hour commute to Pearson, required to arrive 2 to 3 hours early, clear security and customs at either end, 1+ hour flight, circle O'hare for at least an hour, spend the hour it takes to claim baggage and find land transportation to my final destination an hour from O'hare. I would rather hop in the car and go.
