Lovely shots, Adam!

Like all Tail-draggers, it must be a real arse to see where you are going, when manoeuvring on the ground!

Taxiing in Tail-draggers never works very well for me in the Flight Sim!
..probably easier in the real thing, when you can peek out of the sides, zig-zagging, to see where you are going!

Paul...I love Tricycles... ...!

My little Cessna 150 Tail-dragger is far too easy to "Ground-loop"!.... ...!

As someone brought up on taildraggers I never had a problem with them. Real aeroplanes. :P

I would imagine, that anyone used to Tricycles, would have to complete a successful; "Tail-dragger" type test, with an instructor, before obtaining the new "type" entry on the licence?

Certainly a different procedure to operate and control them!

You (me) certainly have to keep your wits about you, in windy conditions!...Ground-loops!... :o ...!

Paul...still practising!... ...!

Yes Paul you need a 'tail-wheel endorsement'. Compared to the YMF the 2T-1A is a lot more docile on the ground. We have made various changes focused on improving the ground handling of this bird including some cowling re-profiling (you can just barely see the top profile change). Also the addition of the toe brakes which our taxi testing has shown to work well. Then we made alterations to the seat itself and the tail-wheel itself...still, it is a tail-dragger and you need some practice before handling it!

This particular one is our R&D bird which we will evaluate all our changes and decide which ones go into production which is moving along right now...first 3 on the line! We are all pretty excited here and eager for flight testing!

FYI these shots were not taken by me, the first shot was from one of our employees. Cannot remember who. The rest are from a guest to the unveil and the boss-man himself, Peter Bowers....who can be seen in the red hat in the taxi-test shots

Thanks Adam...good to see those pictures.

Are they going to offer engine options like perhaps a radial engine?

Keep us posted... <<q
