Having in the resent past been part of a merger between two big airlines, I would not wish the process on my worst enemy. Five years later we were still struggling with the "I am a XXer and your are a YYer". "X's way was always better" "Y" resents "X" and "X" thinks that "Y" is a problem child. Not to mention two different pay scales across the company. I could go on and one, but as it is on of the reasons I left and am now self employed, I really don't give a poop anymore.......

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Mergers like this, seldom end up happy.

So, basically, the concensus here is that this type of merger is flighty?
