This one is certainly more of a proper restoration, starting with a fairly complete airframe, compared to some other modern restorations (go to the right people with a Merlin and a dataplate from a Spit, and you'll have one in a couple of years). Most of the work was done "out of hours" too, IIRC.

Nice to see 311 looking well again. Rich if you're interested in Spit restorations and stuff check out the Haynes Manual for the Spitfire
