Having trouble with understanding this question. Not sure if it was an error or just me not completely understanding it... try and help me out. :)

The wind according to the sock is coming from the northeast so landing runway 36 would be practical with a headwind and crosswind from the right....am I wrong?

The problem you have is that is not a drawing of a windsock, but of a tetrahedron, an old fashioned way of indicating wind direction.  The tetrahedron actually points into the wind, so according to that picture the wind is out of the southwest, and directly down Runway 22.  That is the problem with the FAA's testing, they do not update it enough.  I recently took the written for the instrument rating, and there was a question about Loran, which is no longer in service.

The only choice is 18.  Despite the fact that the wind is directly down 22, 22 is NOT available as the runway is marked as "closed".
