An inside view of WACO Classic part II

Here is a shot of the front half of our production hanger.

Oh, and it is my pleasure to present to you a new born WACO YMF-5C Super: Serial number 130, N45BN. She completed her test flights later that day so her flight certification is in the mail. Once that arrives she is going over to Britain to start gracing the British skies.

Just to the right of 45BN you can see the Great Lakes 2T-1A restoration project getting some fuselage skin as well as some new WACO wings for the next one inline. In fact, you can see the frames of the next two WACOs in the lower right corner of the picture.

Time for an engine test followed by N45BN's 2nd test flight.
If you look closely on the for left you can see an Air National Guard Extra for size comparison

How is she being transported from Michigan to Goodwood, England?

..surely, not flying!... :o...!

She has to get disassembled then shipped over. The trip should take a couple of weeks, then a full and long day to re-assemble, then the whole flight approval shenanigans.
Europe is a pretty good market for WACOs, Africa has 5-6, and we are just now starting the process for selling them in Brazil.
