I just had contol of a Piper Archer II, a Cessna 172, and some Piper Cadet, in flight, not too bad for a 15-year old boy I think.

I like the Archer really much, has enough power, and is a little agil on the rudders...

But I never had the honor about performing some Take Off or landing, except with my R/C Planes........
But coming in on final with some 12 feet ASW - 20 is great, too.

Awesome! I'v only ever seen a low formation of the C130, Whats it like flying in it and how did you get to do it?
Now if something goes without saying, then why do people say it??

Very good fun - there aren;t many aeroplanes you can stand in whilst the pilots are pulling some serious manouvres (up to 60deg Angle of bank). Real good stuff.

Work? That's news to me! (well, they do pay me!)  ;) ;D Something along those lines anyway, nudge, nudge  ;) ;).

Cool topic. VERY interesting variety of answers. As for myself, in order of 'stick time" in each:
Cessna 172
Cessna 150
Cessna 152
Zlin 242 (1 hr aerobatics lesson-yeehah!)
Piper Tomahawk
Piper J-3 Cub

This thread is getting annoying, it's most people saying "I'm 15/14 so I am very special flying planes at this age". I'm 12 and have ridden in heaps of Air Force planes, I can't fly anything but.

You might try not to get annoyed by stuff like that at age 12... you'll have plenty of time to be really annoyed later... ;D
I was quite serious about some things at that age and later found it doesn't pay... age doesn't make you smarter, but believe me, I know what Im talking about. ;D
It all seems like youthful enthusiasm to me; not a problem as far as I'm concerned.
And anybody who flies or loves flying is special, IMHO.
So you're an Air Force "brat"?  I think we'd all like to hear about it.

I would like to be the first to apologize for thinking that being 16, having 40 hours in a 172 (something like 8 PIC) and being damn good at it distinguishes me from anyone else.

I'll go win a Nobel or something.

So far only pilot in command of Cessna 172s, and flown a DA-20 Katana.. though I love the ole 1978 172s i normally fly :P  I plan on getting my check rating on a Piper Arrow and Cessna 182 next.

Been trying to get to use the Level D 737 simulator at my airline, still trying to get around the bookings of that.  Hope to job shadow in a 737NG sometime in the next little bit...

As for passenger flying:
DC9
DC10
737 from 200s all the way to present 700s (havnt tried the big long 800s yet)
A32X
747
767
A330
Sat in a running Bell206 for 5 seconds
Cheers,
RB

To be fair, until today nothing had been written in this thread for over a year! :)
