How many real pilots here?

I've been known to dabble, and in the past 12 months have doubled my hours, which means...

a) training took a long time (not my fault)...

b) my average flight length now exceeds my average weekly hours from a year or two ago, or occasionally my former average monthly hours!

I've done banner towing, been a jump pilot (tons of fun) and currently am flying corporate/ part 135. I fly a King Air B100. Corporate is great and I can see myself retiring with my current company. And no, I do not want to fly for the airlines. I do miss flying jumpers though in a twin otter. It's such a fun plane to fly!

Nothing impressive. The giles was fun to toss around. The twotters are amazingly fun to land with their STOL capibilities, and if I could switch careers over to helis I'd do it in a heartbeat!

Man, you guys have got to fly alot of different aircraft.  I'm looking forward to that.  I'm waitin on my instrument checkride right now.  I can't wait to get outta school and build me an RV-8.

You'll learn a lot from your instrument. The hardest thing with that rating is trying to stay current unless you fly professionally!

I'm currently based out of ACY. I did most of my training at Mercer County College. It's a great program and very economical. It's a shame the college is dropping the program after almost 30 years.

I consider myself a "real" pilot.  Although I don't have much "real" aircraft time (real being those without nosewheels).  I have 70+ hours SEL, and about 10 hours MEL (aero commander, Cessna 421).  About 2 unlogged hours in a Cub, 1 unlogged in a Stearman and 1 in a DGA-15 Howard, 2 in the Hawker 850/900XP full motion sim.

Haven't been flying much lately, hard to justify the prices charged these days, considering I don't have enough dough to get my IFR training.  I could go around and screw around, but its not much use.
