I'll be at Legends on the Sunday but, other than that, I have no firm plans this year. I always try to get to the Merlin Flying Club/Rolls Royce fly in at Hucknall in June. With RIAT and Legends on the same weekend I'm not sure how good a show it will be this year. I though last year's Legends was a tad dissapointing. Should thin out the crowds a bit though.

I'm looking at finally hitting up Atlantic City this year, as I'll be down that way for half the summer. Also I'm planning on Jones Beach and McGuire, maybe even Airventure if I can gather the cash for the flight up.

Since I've decided to be a teacher I'll be having my summers free (perfect for aviation!) I'll have a much more flexible schedule.

As for planning, It's a MUST for me.

August 14th: Dawlish Airshow
August 30th - 31st: Shoreham  

September 6th - 7th: Duxford Airshow

October 5th: Old Warden Autumn Air Display

I only went to 2 last year that was RIAT and Swansea festival of the air but i will most probably go to the same 2 this year, im definetly going to the RIAT though.

My schedule is unchanged.  Will be attending the McChord AFB Open House in July, watching the Blue Angels the first weekend of August and then August 3-10th I'll be in Pendelton, Oregon covering the 2008 AWAC.  (Advanced World Aerobatic Championship).  

Unfortunately, since obviously the Pacific Northwest f*** sucks, three of the largest airshow events are all scheduled on the same weekend that the AWAC finishes... Abbotsford Airshow, Oregon airshow, and the Fairchild AFB Open house which is due to feature the first F/A-22 Raptor demonstration in the region!!! GGGRRR!!!

May 24-25 - Snowbirds at Janesville, WI
June 21- Blue Angels at Davenport Iowa for the Quad Cities Airshow
July 31-August 3- EAA Airventure AKA Oshkosh
September 10-14- Reno, Nevada for the Reno National Championship Air Races.

Let us hope that it is a safe year for all of those in the airshow industry.
