A neighbour of mine drives those towing trucks at Schiphol, he once showed me photographs of what happends when idiots start racing with them, they lost control and the truck spinned a 180 and bore itself in the belly of the 747, il see if i can dig up those photo's.
Hm, I wonder if the 'wheelbase' size (is that what you call it for aircraft? wheelbase? footprint? what?) had anything to do with this. I mean, if the A380 had a much larger than normal wheelbase, it could have caught the tug driver by surprise.
