I was recently on an American Airlines flight from Kennedy Inlt to Provodenciales Intl (Turks & Caicos Islands)
First off the captain came on saying "We're gonna let Rick fly the plane today" Rick, being the copilot ( I think).....
Taxiing is fine, then we get to the runway, and he overthrusts... a lot.... sounded like the engines were gonna blow up...
We get into the air.. he does some sharp turns.. finally we're on route...
We get to 38,000 feet.... and the plane hits bad turbulence.... the he made an annoucement that we'd be going down to 35,000... we get down there... more bad turbulence.... finally he finds a good altitude and we stay on course...
Landing....... first off, he came in fast... had to use the spoilers quite a bit.... on touchdown we hit on the left side first.. swirved a bit.. then straightened out and taxiing to the gate....
Coming back to New York..... we had a more professional *captain* we led us in a *very* smooth flight back..... when he said that the wheather would be bad.... Rick however... mentioned no wheather problems what so ever..... just bad piloting
