That Tristar isn't dirty as such. It's simply been sandblasted from being out in Iraq, for the Gulf War. So it's more 'weathered' than anything.

Thanks for that F-4F video ex-pat. I believe I was there at Mildenhall watching that display!

You think that's dirty?

If I'm correct, MK Airlines operate white 747-400F's, right?

Take a look at this MK 747 - what happened to the white? :o

They also operate Grey/silver 747's - I expect that was cheaper than repainting them white when they were procured...

Yes, if you look at other pictures of that particular aircraft it is indeed silver.  Still dirty though...

Aircraft manufacturers have laid down time intervals when an aircraft should be washed. Normally it is every 28 days - or + an extendable period that is also laid down.  Washing is not an option, it is a must.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

If you look hard you can see its former titles.
