Two questions.

Firstly what routes did Phuket air use to fly within the EU and what will be their long distance market now. Africa?


And secondly, what about old 707's. Do they have noise restrictions because there have been recent pictures of 707's knocking around a.net recently.

I think its more a case of where they are flying into. Manston in Kent used to be a major base for 707/DC-8 ops, but now MK have relocated to Ostend for noise regions (the final approach to Manston goes right over a town)...

Also, I expect various degrees of hush-kitting may permit some operations...

MK doesn't operate the DC-8's no more... all 747's now.

Still, we get some DC-8's from African International and the occasional Arrows bird.

A while ago I witnessed a 737-200 ( EAL-cargo) landing at EBOS... man, those things are loud! The easily overwhelm a departing DC-10!  :o
