Well I wouldn't be surprised if the MBB one made it over at some point. However saying that, they have an airworthy DB engined 109 (Buchon) which I haven't seen in the UK, so they may keep it in Germany...

Another example of how good the UK industry was at the time was the M52, of which a similar looking orange plane appeared a year later or so in the US... ;D

Sad to think that Eic Brown could easily have been the first through the sound barrier (if it wasn't G DeH Jr)
