If you can take a long vacation from work, then I would suggest learning to fly in Australia!

It would cost you less than half the price (Around

Im sure someone would be willing to take me up if i offer to clean their plane.

You'd be better off to offer to pay for half or all of the fuel. Most pilots dont want anyone else puttin' thier hands on thier plane. Even if it is to wash it. Correction: Expecially to wash it.
He'd probably be more likely to let you wash his wife first.

you think bricks ? some pilots i know (friends of relatives) were happy when i offered last year, unfortunately it was in cash they paid me, not rides :'(. lol ;)

thats a good idea 'ComPilots' ;D
I was thinking of doing that this summer, left school and before I start College.
Its because the university course i want to go on is only done by one university in the country. I want to do a 'Air Transport Operations degree' which is a 3 year course in which you arre sent to another country in the 2nd year to get your commercial liscence. The 3rd year is when you find a job as a pilot and do projects.
Unfortunately there is only 16places a year on this course. :(
As well as getting the grades im sure it would help if i knew how to fly smaller planes, hence the PPL! lol ::)

You sound really set on making it! Good for you!

I know it is possible to get that very same degree in Australia! Maybe you should consider moving there on a student visa!

What ever way you choose, I wish you lots of luck! ;)
