Those are intersting facts you mentioned. Thanks a lot :) About about EL AL flight...Since they had so many people inside, and where did all the luggage go? I guess it was all stored in cargo holds which I am sure were filled up with no more free space available  ;)

They were refugees - not too much luggage.
