What are peoples favourite airline and route to fly with them. Also what is your favourite plane type either to fly on or watch.

Personally I'd say; Longhaul:- Virgin Atlantic LHR-HKG a340-
Shorthaul- America West or Continental in the US

Also favourite aiport for me is San Diego

Northwest, DC10, Airport would be Memphis, most people hate it, but I love being there:)
but nothing comes close to the new Northwest terminal in terms of ease and just beautiful asthetics. Huge jump from the old dump they have.

Southwest.  They get me where I want to go often direct without connection, the price is right, and I REALLY like their business model.  Simple, cheap, effective.  Oh, and the 737s with the winglets are cool.  :)

Favorite airport to fly in to with them is San Diego.  Unfortunately every time I fly out there it takes for ever (I live in the opposite corner of the country from SD).  Therefore my favorite route is Manchester to Baltimore.  Nice short hop, good scenery on the way (Boston, Cape Cod, NYC, Long Island sound).

The J&J corporate jets-G4 or Hawker, take your pick ;D

I live in Philadelphia, so when we do fly commercial it is, of course, USAir.  Don't have any particular preference in airlines.

Also favourite aiport for me is San Diego

I love San Diego :)

Lets see...havent flown to much.  But Northwest has been one of my main choices.  Guess I would have to go with their CRJs.  Other then the pilot that flew me from Detroit to Fort Wayne.  Tookoff like a rocket and landed like a rock :-X  Sad part is the weather was really nice and no wind :-[  That aircraft probably had a little checkup before leaving FWA again :-X  Also liked their 727 but that was back in 98 :P

Favorite route would probably be FWA-DTW.  Short hop and with the summer timezones you accualy become younger by a few minutes...(More then just the Concorde could pull that off ;) )  Sadly that will be no more.  As of this year Indiana adopts DST and we will be with Michigan >:(

Favorite airport has to be good ol Fort Wayne.  Only regional at this time and a whopping 8 gates.  You never have to worry about getting lost in the terminal...and if you accauly manage to pull that off...well ::)  Plus your lugage doenst take a year to get off the plane and into your hands, twice it was coming in right as we arrived in bagage claim :)  Also home base for part of Kittyhawk Cargo.  You get to see their 727s and now their new 737s.  Still think FWA needs to put its 12,000 foot runway to better use...

Hows about worst airline...TWA by far...I was kind of glad to see them gone :-/  Rough flights and rattling rivots...not my idea of a fun time :-[

Malaysia Airlines: LHR - KLIA.

Best Airline.
Best crew.
Best arrival airport!

Shorthaul: Surprisingly BA. (Anywhere inside of Europe)
I love the seats! And the food is good too.

I love San Diego :)

It's just so chilled out.
Chris F, I live across the Atlantic so with no direct flights from Europe its rare I get to go there. Wish they would start a direct LHR-SAN flight again

Connect in New York is usual. We always pick a car up from the car rental place right at the end of the runway so you get  brilliant views (and sounds) whilst waiting.

A 744 landing at SAN is indeed an amazing sight. Check it out on a.net. Also once on a.net I remember seeing an overview of small local aircraft with the BA 744 or 772 next to them it was quite a difference, if anybody finds that photo again could them tell me because i just can't!

a.net is short for http://www.airliners.net. ;)

Wasn't sure if you meant can't find the pic or can't find the website.
