This one is certainly more of a proper restoration, starting with a fairly complete airframe, compared to some other modern restorations (go to the right people with a Merlin and a dataplate from a Spit, and you'll have one in a couple of years). Most of the work was done "out of hours" too, IIRC. :)

Nice to see 311 looking well again. Rich if you're interested in Spit restorations and stuff check out the Haynes Manual for the Spitfire ;)
