panorama view of WACO Classic

A panoramic shot of the final assembly area.

In the South East corner you can see the restoration Great Lakes project is coming along nicely. Wings on, engine on, tail surfaces on, most avionics installed, etc.

And another WACO waiting on an engine in the North end.

5,000+ man hours into each YMF-5. Hand built. The Great Lakes should be much less than that.

I should mention though that we offer a lot of customization for the YMF-5 so it often goes over 6,000.

Current average price on the YMF-5 is somewhere around $460k. The Great Lakes is currently listed around $250k.

So I take it we should reserve S/N 137 for you?  ;D
They are pretty expensive, but in the grand scheme of things they are priced well. Remember it is the price of a new build vintage aircraft.  8-)
Personally I wish more people would try doing similar things with other vintage airplanes.
