Back to the drawing board!

With the various modifications that I regularly carry out to my Flight Sim Cessna 150 Aerobat....The sort of thing I am always fearful of....

Video: A bad way to stop fast!...>>

..... like shoehorning my spare Continental, 6-cylinder, turbocharged, 310 HP, TSIO-520-L engine into her nose...

Ahah, who wouldn't see that coming? pratically the whole weight of the aircraft is on top of those large wheels and set very high, it's like landing an unicycle!  :D

Without a comforting wheel under the front end, its all too easy to tip a Tail-dragger onto her nose, at the best (worst) of times!... ::)...!

I suppose The only good thing about those long legs, is to keep the prop tips as far away from the ground, collecting stones, as possible, when manoeuvring... ;)...!

Paul... ;D...!

Well, I certainly LOVE long legs on the right bodies, but aircraft bodies aren't included. ;)
Cool video though.  I'd bet the words from the pilot's mouth as the incident occurred were, "Oh s**t!" ;)
