Info on (Real) Flight Sim Tech?

Postby xerxes » Sun Dec 13, 2009 9:39 pm

Anybody have any info on where to go to school to become a flight sim technician?  I mean the real ones used at American Airlines and places.  I'm too old to go (back) into the military for this.  I couldn't find anything google-ing.  Is this even a college degree?  I would imagine it's all computer programming, electronics and hydraulics?

Anybody on this site do this for a living?

Outside of the military I can't think of anyone offering training except the manufacturer.

If you have a degree in one of those disciplines that might get your foot in the door for OJT.
