Dutch PT Ryan crashed at Schaffen - Belgium

Postby Omag 2.0 » Sun Aug 16, 2009 6:34 am

Unfortunately I couldn't attend the annual fly inn this year, otherwise I would have witnissed the event.

A Dutch PT Ryan crashed on landing at Schaffen yesterday. The plane's strutts hooked in a ditch and when up side down. The pilot came in to low on approach...

Sad to see such a beauty being transformed in a pile of rubble.

Pilot and passenger are hurt, but not life threatning...

You mean the seat to stick interface units ;D
I have replaced a few of those to fix aircraft ;D ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
