For my sins I'll be spending Saturday catching some GA at Old Sarum (weather permitting of course).....

If it rains I'll just go and see York City get thrashed by Salisbury

Ended up spending about 40 minutes in the freezing cold on the terrace at OS before heading over the road to watch York draw 1-1 with Salisbury....(Hilarious goalkeeping error on one of them )

Not much action but had a chat with one of the ground staff who was on birdscaring duty, and caught a microlight go up and do a couple of circuits aswell as a C152, an unidentified kit aircraft and a PZL Koliber (OK...I looked it up ) all leaving

Will definitely be back.....great atmosphere....

Surprised you saw much at all considering how bad the weather was across the UK yesterday.

Mind you, you should have gone to Brize; it cleared up sufficiently for a couple of 10's, 7 Typhoons (diverting from Coningsby) and a Timmy to arrive/depart.
