Continental Flight 65 Diverted

Postby heaven2006 » Sat Jul 26, 2008 2:25 pm

Hello

Next week I'll fly Continental to Newark on flight 65, so I've been watching if flights have been on time. However, today I noticed that the flight CO 65 was diverted to Gander, NF! Does anyone know what happened? Is it common?

Thanks

Gander is usually a stop for trans-Atlantic aircraft that may have been a little short on fuel or have a problem with a passenger.  Or it may have just been a cautionary diversion for some mechancial trouble.  I wouldn't be too worried.

yup as said it will have been a fuel stop.  happens occasionally with the 752s.  with a strong headwind, they just dont have the range to make it all the way to EWR.  will it happen to you?  dont know.  deppends what the weather is like on the day :)
