How you really have fun in an airplane...

Postby Boss_BlueAngels » Sun Jun 08, 2008 12:20 pm

Here is a short video I put together last Thursday with my aerobatic instructor, Matt Groth, over at Arlington.  Some of the teachers I work with have invited me to come into their rooms for the last week of school to talk to them about aviation so I asked Matt if we could go up for a quick flight while I record some aerobatics.  Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest so we were only able to do some horizontal maneuvers (turns, rolls, etc) but it was still really great.  The first series of rolls he demonstrates an aileron roll, slow roll, and then a 4-pt roll.  Later on in the video he also does a very nice 8-pt roll.  So, here are the results of that quick flight on Thursday, enjoy!

The day is always better when you're flying upside down.

Definitely a bit scudgy for aerobatics, but it looks like you made the most of it. ;)

Well-done video! :)

Ye-Haw! 8-)

Aerobatics are great in an Aerobat, but they look absolutely awesome in a Decathlon. ;D
