Wohoo! I'm excited!
In just a couple of weekends I'll be attending official IAC (International Aerobatic Club) Judges School! It's two days of lecture (9AM-4PM Sat. then 9AM - 2PM Sunday) followed by real practice judging if the weather is nice.
I have to order my own official Aresti Aerobatic Catalog of all the maneuvers and my own set of IAC rules. Once that's done I can take a simple test online through IAC and become an official regional judge!
At least if I can't afford to fly for any events this year I'll be able to judge. (I had to get a new car, so that changes my situation a bit now) At this rate I'll take anything I can get!
Two full days of learning how to watch airplanes spin and tumble... what could be better? (Other than actually doing the spinning and tumbling, of course.)
