Where can i buy a combat helmet?

Hi all

I want to buy a functional helmet such as the air force fighter pilots use, i know that exhist this helmets for civilian use, with the oxigen mask and all.

I know that exhist a store on USA, but i dont remember the webpages  :-[

Please if some one know where i can buy this helmet i'll be really gratefully

I think those would be considered government property. There might be sites where they sell used helmets though. Check eBay they have everything.

If you're looking for one exactly like the picture, it's the Gentex HGU-55.  Just in case you were wondering.

In europe you can get real used russian helmets from the DDR era

Why do you need it?  That's one heck of an expensive piece of equipment.  

And they're not only for military, aerobatic pilots wear those a lot.

If all you need is to keep a headset in place while flying inverted I recommend simply getting a fabric helmet.  I use one and it's quite nice without the bulk of a huge helmet and keeps my headset firmly in place while doing inverted spins.
