747s regularly fly into SXM. The runway is easily more than enough for a 747 as it is over 7000 feet long, however, long range flights are payload restircted and as far as I know, need to refuel half way home.


KLM flies TNCM-EHAM nonstop and Air France flies TNCM-LFPG nonstop...Payload restrictions yes, fuel restrictions, none.
