Air Atlantique DC-6 on Airshow circuit next year

Excellent!! - http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/20 ... -2008.html

G-APSA, the only UK-registered DC-6 currently operational, is being prepared for the UK and European air show circuit next year. But it will also be revisiting its birth-place, Long Beach, to celebrate its 50th birthday on 13 June 2008, and will visit the Quebec air show on the way back home.

:)

A small claim to fame................I have towed that aircraft. When she was being used by Air Atlantique to transport car parts for Opel around Europe, she landed at Dortmund, cleared the runway and then did a very quick 90 degree turn to the right and stopped. The nose gear steering cables decided that it was time to enter the afterlife.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
