Besides, without a major sponsor on board, it may only ever make a few test flights before it joins the Sea Vixen on the "Airworthy but too expensive to operate" list.


Rumour has it that the Sea Vixen does indeed have a sponsor now.

And none of us know whether XH558 actually has sponsors lined up or not... fingers crossed, but only time will tell!


Yes, i have also heard a rumour that G-CVIX has a sponser...

Well lf I'd won the Euro Millions lottery last week I was going to sponsor them for a year. I take it by the fact that they are asking all the web site visitors to donnate a fiver that they are once again in the poor house. I really hope they get the money and put this superb aircraft back where it belongs, but I just have that feeling we may never see her doing much more than sitting in a museum. I so hope I'm wrong.
Good news about the Sea Vixen though, if it's true.
