Do you know what....

I look at all that Ice, Snow, freezing fog, freezing rain, low cloud, poor visibility, etc, etc.....

...and I think....

Piper Super Cub.... ::)...

Naturally aspirated Carburettor!... :o...!

I have this "thing" about frozen carburettors...and "dead" engines.... :o...!

(Been there...had it happen...too may times!)... :'(...!

Actually, the word "Paranoid" doesn't even come close... :o...!

After experiencing "Frozen Carburettors" and "Dead Engines" on my various twin-SU/Amal, etc, Carburettor'd vintage racing cars and Motor Bikes, I spend most of my Sim Flying hours keeping a wary eye on my Carburettor heat control knob...;)...!

In real life, it's a life-saver...trust me...!

I always fiddle with my Knob, whenever altering power settings on my little Piston Props...

...(Applying "Carburettor Heat" helps, as well).....Trust me...;)...!

F....I love my Carburettors... :-*...!

More Pilots have died due to NOT fiddling with their (Carb Heat) Knobs than is generally realised!
