2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

He has a complete and total disregard for the law, the regulations, and the safety of others... i say throw the book at him.

For a commercially licensed pilot who was also well over the age of adolescence?

Ok, so it was a joy ride.

None the less and especially having commercial rating, that joy ride was not reckless adolescence decision making, it was calculated, planned and executed by a professional who knew what to do, how to do it and endangered the lives of himself, his passengers and people on the ground because he was not rated to fly the aircraft.
